Clive Phillips

Clive is the Long Term Planning Manager at Antarctica New Zealand. He is responsible for developing the organisation's Long Term Operational plan, and the operating model it will use when the new Scott Base is built. After originally training as a geologist, Clive was an Officer in the British Army where he deployed on operations in Northern Ireland, Iraq and Afghanistan. Since moving to New Zealand he has worked in the humanitarian and emergency response sector across the Pacific. He brings to the role over 20 years’ experience of managing logistics and emergency response operations in remote environments and leading vehicle fleet and infrastructure replacement projects.
