Dr Andrew Lohrer specialises in marine seafloor ecology, investigating primary production and nutrient dynamics in seafloor habitats. He is interested in mobilisation of seafloor sediments by macrofauna, and disturbance-recovery processes.
In the Antarctic Science Platform, Drew will examine ecosystem functioning and the ecosystem services of benthic (nearshore coastal) ecosystems.
