Two new PhD opportunities with Project Three

9 April 2020

The Antarctic Science Platform is thrilled to offer two new PhD opportunities associated with Project Three, projecting Ross Sea Region ecosystem changes in a warming world.

The first PhD project is looking at the impact of regional climate change on the hydrological systems of the McMurdo Dry Valleys and other snow/ice free terrestrial landscapes in the Ross Sea Region of Antarctica. This is based at University of Canterbury.

The second, based at the University of Otago in Dunedin, is focused on the impacts of meteorological and climate forcing on glacier surface mass balance and melt water production in the McMurdo Dry Valleys, and other glaciated landscapes within the Ross Sea Region of Antarctica.
