Anjali is a marine biologist with a research background in various aspects of Marine Biology ranging from Marine Protected Areas to Antarctic fisheries and even Biosecurity. She has worked for research organisations such as the British Antarctic Survey and NIWA (National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research) as well as working as a government scientist for the Ministry of Primary Industries in its various guises. Anjali is developing the initial proposal for the New Zealand Antarctic Environmental Assessment, aiming to create something fit for purpose for all users (policy makers and scientists) and in a format that is useful and can be further expanded over time.
