Deb is a communications specialist who likes working with experts to tell stories that make knowledge accessible. Formerly a journalist covering business and politics, her communications background is with the public and infrastructure sectors, in particular coastal construction projects with high environmental values. She came to Antarctica New Zealand from Environment Canterbury, where she was a collaborator with the Science Group, focusing on climate change, natural hazards and contamination.
