Girija Kalyani Burada is a PhD candidate specialising in Antarctic sea ice, particularly downscaling sea-ice characteristics in the Ross Sea sector.
This work supports Project 4's objective of capturing small-scale sea-ice behaviour (like polynya) to provide better insights into how the sea-ice fields are controlled by polynya-related energy fluxes and other forcings, both local and remote.
