Dr Sarah Seabrook’s research integrates techniques in microbiology, geochemistry and ecology to investigate the connections between physical environments, ecosystems and climate.

In the Antarctic Science Platform, Sarah is exploring the network of lakes and rivers hidden deep beneath the Antarctic ice to investigate if this underground world is connected to the Ross Sea, and what that means for the surrounding ocean and ecosystems.
