Past is prologue – Antarctica in a warming world

PhD candidate Olivia Truax gave a public talk for Fullbright NZ earlier this year.
Her talk covered how the ocean around Antarctica responds to, and drives, global climate change, what we know (and don’t know) about the future of the Antarctic Ice Sheets in a changing climate and how the response of the ice sheets to past intervals of warming can help us better predict the future.
