Early Career Researcher

Dr Bella Duncan is a Research Fellow. She specialises in organic geochemistry and paleoclimatology, with a focus on applying molecular and isotopic biomarker proxies to terrestrial and marine Antarctic and Southern Ocean Cenozoic sediments.

In the Antarctic Science Platform, Bella aims to constrain the climate and environment in Antarctica and the Southern Ocean during key periods in the development of the Antarctic Ice Sheets, when global temperatures and atmospheric CO2 levels were higher than present.
