Dr Alanna Alevropoulos-Borrill is an ice sheet and earth system modeller with a background in glaciology. She specialises in numerical modelling of the Antarctic Ice Sheet, focusing on the response of the ice sheet to present and future climatic change and quantifying future ice sheet contributions to sea level.
In the Antarctic Science Platform, Alanna will use in-situ glaciological observations, modelling techniques and model development to improve understanding and representation of ice-climate interactions.
