Karl Safi is a Phytoplankton Ecologist and taxonomist with a research background in algal taxonomy, microzooplankton grazing and understanding the role of, and processes within, the microbial food web. In the Antarctic Science Platform, Karl’s work is focused on Algal identification and population changes in relation to these processes.
