Steering Group Deputy Chair

The Antarctic Science Platform is seeking a Deputy Chair for the Platform Steering Group. The Deputy Chair will take a governance leadership role in transitioning the Platform to a second tranche of funding which begins on 1 July 2025.

This position will help select and support a Deputy Platform Director who will take the hands-on transition leadership role within the Platform Leadership Team.

Pending continued funding and approval from MBIE, it is expected that the Deputies will assume the roles of Steering Group Chair and Platform Director from July 2025.
